  • The Los Angeles Unified School District has repeatedly recognized Palms Middle School as a Model of Excellence Magnet.
  • Palms' API Score rose in 2007, in 2008, in 2009, in 2010, and again in 2011.
  • In 2010 over 90% of our magnet students scored Proficient/Advanced in English on the California Standards Tests (CST) and over 80% scored Proficient/Advanced in Math.
  • For the regular school, English scores improved from 67% in 2009 to 70% in 2010 and math scores improved from 60% in 2009 to 64% in 2010.
