Culmination Celebration at Dave & Buster's

Come celebrate culmination at Dave & Busters at The Bridge on June 7, 2018, from 4-7 pm. Tickets are $30 and must be purchased in advance, cash only, from the student store. Click here for the flyer.


Culmination Parent Update / Tear Off (Mandatory) = Due April 27th

Jumper Waiver (Optional) = Due April 27th 


Dear 8th Grade Parents and Guardians,


Today in homeroom students were given a "Culmination Parent Update" with a mandatory tear off. The tear off is to be returned to their homeroom teacher no later than April 27th. The update contains essential information pertaining to practice days and the ceremony. Please carefully read over the packet and have your child return the turn off to their homeroom teacher as soon as possible. Failure to return the tear off by the deadline may risk forfeiting the three allotted tickets for the ceremony.


Lastly, a jumper waiver slip was also sent home today and is optional. If your child wants to participate in the jumpers at the 8th grade picnic the waiver needs to be returned to their homeroom teacher no later than April 27th. 


Spring Trip “Magic Mountain” 2018


Trip: Friday, May 18, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Pick-up: Parent/Guardian pick-up child by 1:00 a.m. on Palms Blvd.


Ticket Sale Dates: Monday April 30 – Friday May 11

At Student store $90.00 CASH ONLY

(Limited Seats – ticket sales are based on a first come basis and will close once buses are filled)

*Eligibility will be based off of 15 wk Progress Report – Ineligible students will have their money refunded.


Prior to Purchasing Ticket Student Must:

  • Receive Permission Packet Beginning Wed. April 25 from Ms. McCarrell  RM. 130 before or after school, or during lunch or break.  

 *(Only those who know they will be purchasing a ticket should receive a packet)*

  • Receiving a Permission Packet does not guarantee a seat – to ensure a seat have the below requirements and purchase your ticket as soon as ticket sales open on Monday April 30th.
  • Monitor your grades & behavior, check in with your teachers, and do your work to ensure you will be eligible according to the 15 week progress report.
  • Refer to Class of 2018 Eligibility requirements for Activities posted on Palms Middle School website, click on the left corner link “Eighth Grade”.

When Purchasing Ticket at Student Store You Must Have:

  • Palms Middle School I.D (2017-2018) – For new I.D. simply provide a picture and $5 at Student Store
  • $90.00 Cash Only
  • Permission Packet with the below pages Completed & Signed
    • Permission Letter/Cover Sheet (page 1) – Clearly Print Student Entire First & Last Name, Homeroom #, & Parent Signature
    • Parent Consent for field trip and medical authorization (page 2)
    • Release and Waiver or Liability and Indemnity Agreement (page 3)

      (Pages 4 & 5 from the permission packet should be kept for future reference)
