INTRO TO ROBOTICS CLASS

Intro to EV3 Robotics is an after-school class for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. It was first offered in Spring 2017.

Using the LEGO Mindstorms EV3, students learn basic robot design, construction and programming. They tinker with mechanical structure, motors, gears, power, sensors and much more, while learning engineering and math concepts such as mechanics, physics, design, and environmental science.

Students develop their own ideas and experiment with programming as their proficiency increases. Not only do students gain skills in engineering, but they test their logical reasoning and work with classmates to solve problems.
