What to do on a Test Day

Make sure your child comes to school on time, well rested and having eaten a good breakfast.

If your child is absent the day of a test, check if a make-up test day is available.
Periodic Assessments

three students taking a testPeriodic Assessments are tests mandated by LAUSD. They are standards-based and aligned to grade-level, content-specific instructional guides.  They are designed to

  • guide and focus professional development and instruction
  • identify areas for re-teaching and/or intervention
  • familiarize students with the content and format of tests such as the California Standards Test
