Palms Middle School Prospective Parent Tours

If you are an elementary school parent and you are interested in having your child attend Palms, we invite you to take a campus tour on any of our Visitors Days.

Tours begin at 9:00am in the Auditorium (see campus map) and usually last about 2 hours. Signups are not necessary.

Tours for Fifth Graders

Fifth graders from local schools may be invited to come to Palms for tours in the Spring semester.

A typical fifth grade tour:

  • Elementary school students arrive at the Auditorium.
  • Principal Dr. Moriuchi welcomes the students and introduces the counselors and the Magnet Coordinator.
  • A slide show or video is shown.
  • Students are organized into small groups for tours led by parent volunteers and Leadership students.
  • Students learn about or participate in a special activity such as a robotics demonstration or art project.
  • Students receive gift bags that include a Palms T-shirt, bracelet, and raffle ticket.
  • Student eat lunch in the Student Cafeteria.
  • Parents and students can ask questions.
  • Students depart.
